Howard Berger (Oscar 2006 al Mejor Maquillaje por Las Crónicas de Narnia) recibirá la Máquina del Tiempo el 8 de octubre, antes de la proyección de los episodios de Masters of Horror "Cigarette burns" y "Homecoming" de cuyos efectos especiales de maquillaje es responsable su KNB EFX Group.
Alejandro Amenábar recibirá el premio el día 12 octubre, por su contribución a la difusión del cine de género español, con Tesis, Abre los ojos y Los otros.
El mítico escritor y cineasta chileno Alejandro Jodorowsky celebrará una sesión de Cabaret Místico el mismo día 12, donde recibirá el premio a toda su trayectoria, donde destacan títulos como El topo, La montaña sagrada o Santa Sangre.
El cinesta japonés Kiyoshi Kurosawa será objeto de una retrospectiva, que incluirá el estreno de Retribution, el viernes 13 de octubre, día en el que se le entregará el galardón.
Por otro lado, Sitges otorgará la María Honorífica a la Distribución de Cine Fantástico a Lluis de Val López, Presidente de Manga Films, el día 6 de octubre.

Por lo visto se están retrasando bastante. He oído rumores de que mañana se hará pública esa programación que estamos esperando ansiosos... ... y es que un servidor también se dejará caer por allí esos días.
